[ the whispers and murmurings among his jailers has.. changed, somewhat recently. there's a charged excitement in the air, something jing yuan cannot place without knowing the details, but that he knows, in his gut, must mean something terrible for him. why else would his captors be smiling to themselves so much? why else would they have upped the dosages of his medications, pumping him full of breeding hormones until he can barely sleep for the heat in his bones?
aeons, he is so very tired. how easy it would be to snap them all in half, to turn his torment back on them with a wave of his hand, bringing the lightning lord down upon them in an instant.
but he does not. cannot. not while dan feng yet lives, not while they uphold their promise that he will not be killed. of course, jing yuan has no proof beyond their word, and the occasional camera footage, but that could be fabricated easily enough - yet even still, he cannot chance it. one moment of misbehavior could spell the end for the man he has loved for centuries on end, without cease, without end.
at last the day comes that he is summoned, dragged from his room to somewhere.. new. somewhere where the lights are too bright. an open room with a single full size bed in the center, and nothing more beyond the sterile lights above. no windows, no fresh air, only jing yuan on his own, confused and disoriented, his mind swimming, saturated with hormones that make his body ache and sear.
alone, until the door nearby slides open again, and a figure is pushed inside. ]
